Promise of Joy

Scripture: John 15:11”These things I have spoken to you, that my joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full.”
Jesus desires for us to experience joy—His joy. This joy springs from obedience and a loving relationship with Him. When we choose to keep His commandments and abide in His love, we align ourselves with His purpose, experiencing a joy that transcends circumstances. In His presence, our doubts and fears diminish.
Reflection: What is hindering your joy today? Reflect on how obedience to Christ can restore your joy. Are there commandments you may be overlooking?
Prayer: Dear Jesus, thank You for the promise of joy. Help me to obey Your commands and to abide in Your love. Remove any barriers that keep me from experiencing the fullness of joy You offer. Fill my heart with Your Spirit, and let me live abundantly in You. Amen.
