The Gift of Peace

**Scripture:** John 14:15 (ESV) "If you love me, you will keep my commandments."

In a world filled with chaos and uncertainty, the promise of peace offered by Jesus is a refuge for our restless hearts. This peace is not just an absence of conflict but a deep, abiding sense of well-being that comes from following Him. Love for Christ is intertwined with our willingness to obey His commandments. Every act of obedience we choose to practice is a step on the path to peace. As we reflect on our daily choices, we must ask ourselves: Are we living in such a way that demonstrates our love for God? When we prioritize obedience, we cultivate a space for peace to dwell in our hearts and homes. Rather than allowing fear to dominate our thoughts, we can stand firm, knowing that our actions align with God’s will.

**Prayer:** Lord, thank You for the gift of peace through Your presence. Help me to express my love for You through my obedience. May each decision I make today bring glory to Your name and lead me closer to the peace that surpasses understanding. Amen.
