Abiding the Vine
Scripture: John 15:4-5 “Abide in me and I in you…”
In John 15, Jesus emphasizes the importance of abiding in Him. Just as a branch draws life and sustenance from the vine, we draw strength and purpose from our relationship with Christ. It’s easy to let life’s distractions lead us astray, causing us to question our worth. But the promise remains: when we remain rooted in Jesus, we can bear much fruit. This fruit is not just for ourselves; it glorifies God and proves our discipleship.
Reflection: Take a moment to consider your life. Are there areas where you feel disconnected or unfruitful? Jesus offers an invitation to reconnect. How can you deepen your relationship with Him today?
Prayer: Lord, help me to abide in You, to seek Your presence daily. May Your Spirit flow through me and produce fruit in my life. Draw me closer to You, so I can bear witness to Your love and grace. Amen.
