Understanding Opposition
**Scripture**: “Indeed, all who desire to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted.” - 2 Timothy 3:12 (ESV)
Jesus prepared His disciples for the reality of opposition they would face in the world. Likewise, we must recognize that standing firm in our faith may attract conflict, misunderstanding, or persecution. The world often opposes the message of Christ, but this should not deter us from our mission. Embrace the opposition as a chance for growth and greater dependence on Jesus. Our challenges can strengthen our faith and cultivate resilience. Remember that while the world may come against us, Christ has overcome the world, granting us victory in Him.
**Prayer**: Lord, help me to understand that opposition is part of following You. Grant me courage and strength to stand firm when faced with challenges. May I remind myself that in Christ, I have victory over the world. Amen.
