Sharing the Gospel
Reading: Romans 1:16-17, 1 Corinthians 1:18-25
Devotional: The apostles were committed to sharing the full, uncompromising message of the gospel, even in the face of a hostile culture. They recognized that the message of Christ crucified and risen was the only true hope for a broken world.
Consider your approach to sharing your faith. Have you been tempted to water down the message to make it more palatable to others? Remember that while we should always speak with gentleness and respect, we must never compromise the core truths of the gospel.
Pray for opportunities to share your faith this week, and for the courage to present the full, life-changing message of Jesus Christ.
