Need for New

Scripture: Titus 3:5
"He saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit."

Devotion: Spiritual renewal is not a self-improvement project—it is the supernatural work of the Holy Spirit. We are not saved by our good deeds or moral efforts, but by God’s mercy through the cleansing and renewing power of the Spirit. The Holy Spirit brings our dead hearts to life, aligns our desires with God’s will, and empowers us to live in a way that pleases Him. Renewal is both an event and a lifelong process. The Spirit continually works in us, shaping us into the image of Christ.

Reflection: In what areas of your life do you sense the Holy Spirit calling you to deeper renewal? Are there old habits, thoughts, or fears He’s urging you to release?

Prayer: Holy Spirit, thank you for renewing my heart and leading me into new life. Help me to recognize your voice and respond with obedience. Cleanse me from all that hinders your work in my life, and shape me daily into the likeness of Christ. I yield myself to your transforming power.
