Gift of Community
Scripture Matthew 16:18 ”And i tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.”
Jesus established the church as a place where believers would gather, grow, and uplift one another. In the New Testament, the disciples often traveled together, demonstrating the importance of community in spreading the Gospel. Think about how your faith journey has been shaped by those around you.
Reflection: Write down a few people who have played a significant role in your spiritual growth. Include those people in your prayers this week.
Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you for the community of believers you have placed in my life. Help me to recognize their influence and to appreciate the ways they have encouraged my faith. Amen.
