God’s Direction Is Rooted in Love
Reading: Acts 4 1-22
Devotional: God’s direction is always rooted in love and designed for our good. The disciples example in Acts 4 shows us that commitment to God’s will is an expression of our love and trust in Him. When we commit, we acknowledge that God’s plans are better than our own.
Commitment to God’s will requires humility. It means recognizing that our understanding is limited and God’s wisdom is infinite. This humility opens the door for God to lead us into His perfect plan and bless us abundantly.
Jeremiah 29:11 reminds us that God’s plans are to prosper us and give us hope and a future. Commitment to His direction aligns us with these promises. It positions us to receive His guidance, protection, and provision.
Sometimes, commitment means stepping out of our comfort zones or letting go of control. Yet, God’s faithfulness assures us that His direction will never lead us astray. His “yes” is a foundation of hope and assurance.
Today, surrender your plans to God’s loving direction. Commit to trusting His timing and purposes, knowing that His will for you is good, pleasing, and perfect. This commitment will bring peace and joy as you walk confidently in His path.
