Patience in God's Plan

Day 3: Patience in God's Plan
Reading: James 1:2-4

Often, our spiritual vertigo comes not from a lack of faith, but from a lack of patience. We want God to act on our timetable, forgetting that His ways and thoughts are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:9). James encourages us to consider trials as joy, knowing that the testing of our faith produces perseverance. This patience isn't passive waiting, but active trust in God's perfect timing and plan. Reflect on a time when God's timing differed from your expectations. How did the situation ultimately unfold? What did you learn about God's character through that experience? Ask God for the strength to patiently endure current trials, trusting in His perfect plan.

Prayer: Lord, give me the strength and patience to wait on Your perfect timing. Teach me to find joy in trials and to trust that You are working all things for my good. Help me to see Your hand in every circumstance and to rely on Your wisdom and guidance rather than my own. Thank You for developing perseverance within me. In Jesus' name, Amen.
