Peace with God

The first type of peace is peace with God. Romans 5:1 tells us, “Since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.” Before we came to faith in Christ, we were enemies of God because of sin. But through the death of Jesus, we are reconciled to God, and there is no longer any conflict between us. This peace is the foundation of our salvation and a precious gift from God.

If you are in Christ, you are no longer under His wrath; you are at peace with Him forever.

Prayer:

Father, thank You for the peace I now have with You through Jesus. I was once far from You, but now I am Your child. Help me to live in the fullness of this peace and share it with others. Amen.
