Facing Doubt with Truth
When sharing the gospel, the truth can often expose deep-seated doubts. I remember a conversation with a friend who became angry when I confronted him with the reality of God's existence. Why? Because the truth was challenging his worldview. He was faced with the uncomfortable reality that without God, life has no inherent meaning.
Satan’s tactics are still at work today, sowing doubt, denial, and replacement of God's Word. Just as he questioned Eve in the garden—“Did God really say?”—he still works to undermine our confidence in God’s truth. When we embrace the truth of God’s Word, we stand firm against these attacks.
Today, meditate on the truth of God's Word. Are there areas in your life where doubt or confusion has crept in? Ask God to strengthen your faith in His unchanging truth.
Prayer:
Lord, thank You for Your Word, which is truth. Help me to stand firm in Your promises and resist the lies of doubt. Strengthen my faith and trust in You today. Amen.
