The Spirit of Truth
In John 14:17, Jesus speaks of the Holy Spirit as "the Spirit of truth." This truth is essential for finding peace. The world cannot receive the Spirit because it neither sees nor knows Him. But for those who belong to Christ, the Spirit is with us and in us.
The Holy Spirit is not just a guide for truth but the source of peace. When we walk in alignment with God’s truth, we experience His peace more deeply. Truth is the foundation of peace—without truth, there can be no lasting peace.
Consider the ways in which the Spirit is guiding you toward truth today. Are there areas in your life where you need to align more fully with God’s truth? Allow the Holy Spirit to lead you.
Prayer:
Holy Spirit, thank You for being my guide and comforter. Help me to follow Your truth so that I can experience Your peace in every area of my life. Amen.
