Promise of Calling

Scripture: "Call to me and I will answer you, and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known." - Jeremiah 33:3

This magnificent promise from God offers us incredible assurance. When we feel lost or overwhelmed, we can turn to Him, who knows our hearts intimately. Prayer should never be seen as a last resort; rather, it is an open invitation to engage with God.
The  saddest words in all the Bible are found in James. James 4:2, we read, "You do not have, because you do not ask." This highlights that many times, we miss out on blessings simply because we forget to ask God for what we need.
Take a moment today to reflect on your prayer life. Are there things you've hesitated to bring before God? Perhaps you’ve relied on your strength or felt unworthy to ask for His assistance. God is inviting you to share your desires, worries, and dreams with Him. Write down your deepest prayer requests, focusing specifically on those "great and hidden things" that you seek understanding about. As you pen your requests, remember that God cares deeply about every detail of your life.

Reflect: Ask God to search your heart, what do you truly want to ask God for today. Where do you feel you need a breakthrough?
Prayer: Lord, thank You for the promise that when I call to You, You will answer. Help me to not shy away from asking boldly and to believe in Your infinite wisdom and love. Open my heart to receive the answers You have for me today. Amen.
