The Importance of Preparation

**Scripture**: “Prepare your work outside; get everything ready for yourself in the field, and
after that build your house.”
- Proverbs 24:27 (ESV)

Preparation is crucial for success in every aspect of life, including our spiritual journey. Just as Jesus prepared His disciples for the upcoming trials they would face; we too must arm ourselves with knowledge and faith. In the upper room, His revelation of betrayal, abandonment, and denial was not meant to instill fear but to prepare their hearts for what was to come. Jesus’ message serves as a reminder that troubles will come, but we can prepare our hearts through prayer, Scripture, and fellowship. When we lean into God's word and rely on the Holy Spirit, we equip ourselves to handle life’s challenges. Remember, preparation is half the battle, as it directs our focus and builds our resilience.

**Prayer**: Lord, thank You for showing us the importance of preparation. Help me to prepare my heart for the challenges ahead and remind me to lean on You during tough times. Equip me with Your wisdom and strength so I can stand firm in faith. Amen.
