Let Not Your Heart Be Troubled

**Scripture**: “Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me.” - John 14:1 (ESV)

In the face of uncertainty, Jesus offers a profound reassurance not to let our hearts be troubled. His words remind us to anchor our trust in God, especially when life feels overwhelming. The disciples were anxious about Jesus’ predictions of betrayal and denial, yet He encouraged them to find peace in Him. As followers of Christ, we, too, may encounter distressing news or situations that unsettle our hearts. However, we have an advocate—the Holy Spirit—who dwells within us, bringing comfort and guidance. By fixing our eyes on Jesus and relying on His promises, we can experience peace amidst chaos.

**Prayer**: Gracious Father, thank You for the promise of peace in troubled times. Help me to trust in You and lean on the Holy Spirit as my comforter. Remove any anxiety from my heart and instill in me a profound sense of peace. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.
