Calm the Sea

Reading: Luke 8:22-25

Just as Jesus calmed the storm on the Sea of Galilee, He has the power to calm the storms in our lives. The disciples faced a literal tempest, but we often face metaphorical storms of doubt, fear, and uncertainty. When Jesus asked, "Where is your faith?", He was reminding them (and us) that faith isn't just for calm waters, but for tumultuous times as well. Today, reflect on the storms in your life. Are you, like the disciples, crying out "Don't you care that we are perishing?" Remember that Jesus is in your boat. He may seem asleep, but He is always aware and always in control. Trust in His timing and His power. How can you demonstrate faith in the midst of your current struggles?

Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You for being with me in every storm. Help me trust in Your presence and power, knowing that You are always in control. Strengthen my faith as I navigate challenges and remind me that You are in the boat with me. Even when things seem uncertain, I know You are aware and You care. In Jesus' name, Amen.
