Desires That Draw Us to God

Devotional: Our desires reveal what we value most. Scripture challenges us to examine whether our desires lead us closer to God or away from Him. Crying out to God means surrendering our desires to His greater wisdom and love.


God is encouraging you to bring your desires honestly before Him, asking Him to purify and redirect them if necessary. God’s heart beats for your ultimate good, which may mean reshaping your desires to reflect His kingdom purposes.


When God says yes, to our prayer, it is an affirmation of your alignment with His will. When He says no or wait, it is an invitation to trust His perfect plan. Let your desire be a bridge, not a barrier, to intimacy with God. Through prayerful surrender, your desires become a means of transformation, drawing you deeper into God’s heart and His abundant life.
