Encountering Jesus
Reading: Revelation 1:12-18
The description of Jesus in Revelation gives us a glimpse of His glory and power. This isn't just the humble carpenter from Nazareth, but the risen, glorified King of Kings. When we truly encounter Jesus in His majesty, it changes everything. The disciples' question, "Who is this? Even the wind and the waves obey him!" is answered definitively in this passage. He is the Alpha and Omega, the First and the Last, the Living One. Today, spend time meditating on this description of Jesus. Help me approach You with reverence and awe, confident in Your sovereignty over all creation. May Your greatness bring peace to my heart, knowing that You hold everything in Your hands. In Your powerful name, Amen.
